The world: Dr. Ahmed Zewail

Faculty of Science Alexandria
Dr. Ahmed Zewail was born on February 26, 1946 in Damanhur, Egypt. Received his early education in the same city with the family then moved to the city hailed Desouk completed his education up to secondary school. In 1963 he joined Ahmed Zewail, Faculty of Science, Alexandria University and received a Bachelor of Science from the Department of Chemistry in 1967, then won it after the master's degree from the same university
Zewail work as an intern in the "Shell" in Alexandria and later completed his postgraduate studies in the United States of America, where he received his Ph.D. from the University of Pennsylvania. After that, he moved to the University, Dr. Zewail California - Berkeley, California, and joined the team Alabhat there. In 1976 he was appointed Zewail California Institute of the technical assistant professor in physical chemistry. In the year 1982, Dr. Zewail as the first professor of chemistry at the Institute Linu.

Achievements
Of the most prominent achievements of the Egyptian scientist Ahmed Zewail is the invention of the camera has the ability to monitor the movement of molecules as they arise, and when docking to each other. It also has several patents for many scientific instruments. Among the most important achievements is that he became a member of the American Academy of Sciences at age forty-three, note that the academic world does not accept any but the smartest scientists and accept a condition that goes beyond the age of fifty-five years.

His awards
Was awarded the Alexander von Hambledon of West Germany's largest scientific prize there, and was awarded the Buck and Tenney of New York. Zewail won in 1998 Benjamin Franklin Award for his work in the study of chemical reactivity at the time of micro (Femto-Second) is called femtochemistry.
In 1999, he received the Nobel Prize for Chemistry for his achievements in the same area. Is the third Egyptian to receive the Nobel Prize after Anwar Sadat, who won the Nobel Peace Prize in 1978, Naguib Mahfouz, who won the prize for literature in 1988.

  Wrote Dr. Zewail
There are well known to the author of two books, namely
1) Book a flight through time .. The way to the Nobel
2) Book of the Age of Science: Asdrah was in 2005 and was printed in five editions of it, where it carried out the first edition issued within two hours of
3) Book Time: was released in 2007
4) Book Dialogue of Civilizations: the last works of Dr. Zewail has been published in Arabic in 2007

Nobel Prize
On Tuesday, October 21, 1999 happened, Ahmed Zewail, the Nobel Prize in Chemistry for his invention of the camera to analyze the spectrum, running at Alvmto seconds (in English: Femtosecond Spectroscopy), study of chemical reactions use becoming the first world of Egyptian and Arab to win the Nobel Prize in Chemistry, and enters the whole world in a new era were not aware that human expects to be able to control the movement of atoms within the molecules during a chemical reaction by rapid laser technique.

Currently
Live Professor Zewail is currently in San Marino, California, a Professor Linus in physical chemistry and a professor physics at Caltech, is married to Dema Zewail (stoker), the daughter of the mark Shaker stoker and working as a doctor, was nominated and will be attended by Professor Zewail in the upper house the Presidential on the Science and technology of the White House after being appointed by President Barack Obama . Finally he was appointed envoy to the United States scientific to the Middle East .

Presidential elections
What about the rumors about the existence of an ambitious politician with a "I am a frank person .. and I have no political ambitions, as I stressed repeatedly that I want to serve Egypt's valuable science and and I die the world."
